Because Texas law does not permit attorneys employed by a public defender’s office to engage in the private practice of criminal law, Forrest Good PLLC is not accepting new clients. This website remains online as a biographical record and a free educational resource for the San Antonio community.

A person charged with a crime who cannot afford a lawyer has the right to ask the court for appointed counsel at the first court appearance. In Bexar County, appointed representation is provided by court appointment, including through the Bexar County Public Defender’s Office and the Managed Assigned Counsel program (www.bexar.org/1041/Public-Defenders-Office).
